Tofu with Vegetables

Marinated tofu pan-fried with carrots, peppers and green onion — a savoury plate served with plain rice.

Tofu with Vegetables

Ingredients

  • Tofu (200 g)
  • Peppers (2)
  • Carrots (2)
  • Green onion (2)
  • Soy sauce
  • Garlic
  • Cumin
  • Turmeric
  • Sesame oil

Instructions

    Boil the carrots until medium to soft.

    Add the peppers and boil until soft.

  3. 3

    Mix the tofu with cumin, turmeric, sesame oil and soy sauce, and leave to marinate for 20 minutes.

    Add the marinated tofu to a pan and cook until browned.

    Add the garlic, peppers and carrots to the pan.

  6. 6

    Just before it's ready, stir in the green onion.

  7. 7

    Serve with a bowl of plain rice.
